I received a wonderful call today from Patricia who lives in Baton Rouge,La. She was the victim of a stroke this last year but has recovered magnificently. We talked about her recovery and how the stroke has affected her abilties to sew and do other task. She wanted me to convey to others how the pedal betty has helped her get back to sewing with much more control since her right leg was affected by the stroke. Patricia said she had tried many products with no success. The large 16×16 pedal betty has given her control so she can sew with confidence. She was so happy and I wanted to let everyone know about Patricia and how she has overcome an obstacle in her love of sewing. We want to wish her all the best and thank her for being in the Steady Betty family. We look forward to meeting her at Quilt festival www.quilts.com in Houston Texas this November.It was such a pleasure to visit with Patricia and I want to thank her for sharing her story with me.
